Getting There

By plane:

The Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) near Panama City Beach in West Bay, FL, is 17 miles from Carillon, and this is where I recommend you fly. It is served by Delta (direct from Atlanta) and Southwest (direct from Baltimore, Houston, Nashville, and St. Louis). Please see for more information!

The Northwest Florida Regional Airport (VPS) in Ft. Walton is 48 miles from Carillon Beach, about an hour drive. See for more about this airport.

From the airport to Carillon Beach:
If you are not renting a car or having someone pick you up, I recommend arranging transportation with Sunshine Shuttle, (850) 650-6333. It is a $55 flat rate from ECP to Carillon ($105 from VPS) for up to 2 adults + $15 for each additional passenger. Book ahead of time. Taxis should also be available at the airport, cost varies.

By car:

Carillon Beach is a 4.75 hour drive from New Orleans, a 9 hour drive from Shreveport, and a 19 hour drive from NYC.

From the west: From Mobile, AL, follow I-10 East to FL State Highway 331. Exit and proceed south approximately 45 miles to US Highway 98. Turn left (east) on 98 and drive 13 miles. After you cross the Lake Powell bridge, the entrance to Carillon Beach will be 1/4 mile on your right.

From the east: From Tallahassee, FL, follow I-10 West to FL State Highway 79. Exit and proceed south on Highway 79 approximately 45 miles to US Highway 98. Turn right (west) on 98 and drive 5 miles. Pass a Winn Dixie and proceed through a stop light. From the light, Carillon Beach is 1/4 mile on your left.

For GPS, use the address 100 Carillon Market Street, Panama City Beach, FL 32413.
